Speaker Meeting Report: Andy Walker

At our recent speaker meeting held at Bridlington North Library on 15th April 2026, we were pleased to welcome Andy Walker, Councillor for Bridlington South Ward (East Riding of Yorkshire Council and Bridlington Town Council).

Andy Walker gave a very interesting comprehensive talk informing us the layers of bureaucracy from Westminster down to Local Government. He also highlighted the differences between Bridlington Town Council and East Riding of Yorkshire Council. The session included a lively questions-and-answers segment where Andy encouraged attendees to ask anything they wished.
