Civil Society- Garden Visit to Fern House, Nafferton

On the 28th July we were treated to a very interesting garden visit to Fern House, Nafferton. Peter and Jennifer Baker kindly opened their garden for us to enjoy, along with refreshments, including delicious homemade cakes.

The garden was amazing, with a huge selection of ferns, grasses of many different species, and plants growing in little nooks and crannies among the stonework, alongside a wide variety of colourful flowers. To think that the garden had been created and developed in just seven years was unbelievable. It is definitely a place we would love to visit again.

This private visit was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone, and grateful thanks were expressed to Peter and Jennifer. We will most certainly visit again.
