Civil Society: Visit to the Chalk Tower, Flamborough

Chrys Mellor gave a very interesting talk about the Chalk Tower at our September Civil Outing. The work undertaken by the Friends of the Chalk Tower is to be applauded. Since our last visit, funds have been raised to install a wooden staircase and floor, opening up the second level of the tower. Unfortunately, we were unable to go upstairs due to health and safety restrictions.
