Once again, we have been given permission to visit a beautiful part of the countryside many people do not know exists. With a wealth of wildlife, wildflowers and stunning trees along with fishponds set in acres of land, this is truly a place to drop into if one needs to drop out of the hustle and bustle of life.

This year a suggestion is to bring a picnic, whatever you wish to drink and your own chair.

We are free to walk the woodland, people on hand to talk about what has been seen and can be seen in and around this privileged place to be.

As always, it is advisable to wear sensible footwear and maybe a light raincoat in case of a shower, although I have studied the forecast, which appears favourable.
