Speaker Meeting Report: Inspector Ian Foster

The Society and guests received an insightful talk this December from Inspector Ian Foster, Humberside Police, on the Clear Hold Build initiative.
Clear Hold Build is a framework to remove criminality and crime threats to a neighbourhood, and it also involves partners and the community in delivering and sustaining reductions in serious crime.
Despite the wet and stormy weather, there was a good turn out for Inspector Foster's talk. With a PowerPoint presentation we heard about the area’s of deprivation in Bridlington, and how problems were dealt with. A very interesting and lively Q&A ended the talk followed by refreshments including mincepies- Merry Christmas!
